About Us
The Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria (APPCC) was founded in April 1993 to promote companion animal facilities, set and maintain a code of conduct, and provide a voice on new legislation. Its members operate independent businesses committed to common standards of professional conduct and client care.
The APPCC consumer code states that cremation and burial services should be respectful, dignified and caring at all stages, including collection, transportation, storage, cremation or burial, and onward handling of ashes. APPCC membership includes inspection against the Consumer Code, and the Association also supports Pet Funeral Arranger and international membership categories.
More information, including the Consumer Code and Member Directory, is available at appcc.org.uk.
